Bahamas
This place is really nice. It's warm, but in a good way, and it's by the ocean! I've traveled to Harbor Island. It's an island that's a part of the Bahamas. The ocean here is beautiful, and there are a lot of palm trees here.
I arrived in Dunmore town by boat a few days ago. The town itself is colorful and lively, with pastel colored houses like the 1797 Loyalist Cottage. There's sun and palm trees everywhere, and houses that look like they cost a fortune. I first went to grab dinner. I went a restaurant called Famous Brian's BBQ for that.
The restaurant wasn't high end, but you could tell that the owners put their heart into the food. I had some bbq ribs and and a soda. The ribs were the best I ever had, and the soda tasted like soda. After I was done eating, I decided to take a walk through the town as it was evening, and the conditions were perfect for a walk.
I walked from the restaurant to the shoreline. I walked along the entire shoreline until I was close to my hotel, and then walked to my hotel.
The next day, I biked to the other side of my island, where the famous Pink Beach was. A sign informed me that the sand got it's color from crushed shells. The beach was beautiful. Near the water, dark brown rocks stood, the teal waves blanketing them, before puling away. The sun was shining onto the water, making the whole place look more tropic like. I decided to just stand by the water and let it push me around.
Then, I realized that the water was shallow enough, so I decided to go swimming!. It was really nice, and the water was at a good enough temperature. When I got back to the shore, I decided to buy a drink. I found a vending machine and bought a cold drink. Then I went back to my hotel.
The Bahamas was a really nice place to visit. The beaches were really nice, the food was really good, and the weather was perfect, atleast for me. I would go back again some day
