Albania
I've just arrived in the Balkan country of Albania. I'm currently in the capital city of Tirana. It surprising looks similar to the US, with the construction sites, loud noices, and apartment building. The thing that sets it apart though, is the vibe of the place, and the fact that the cars look more like they're from the 2000s.
I have just eaten lunch at a resturant down the street, and I must say, the food is really good here. We ate things like ferges, rosto-misalche-kosi, and sarma. It was nice to try another culture's cuisine, and the ferge was pretty spicy.
The next day, we went to the moutainsides, and we saw a small goatlike deer called the chamois. I saw it along the snowline, eating moutain herbs and flowers. It reminded me of the goats that climb mountainsides, but mixed with a gazelle, and with much shorter horns.
The country of Albania is basically the European version of America, but with those beautiful foresty hills where fantasies take place all the time. The food was also great.
