Argentina
This country reminds me of Angola, but there aren't landmines in the rural areas. I'm in Argentina, the 8th largest country in the world. It's really hot here.
Once I got out of the airport, and onto the streets, I could see the tall apartment buildings, standing next to one another like blocks. It reminded me of my hometown, but everything was Spanish. Here, the cars are shaped weirdly, as if the shape was supposed to be sharper, but it was smoothed and rounded out until the entire car looked awkward.
Since I wasn't a big fan of the hot weather, I decided to go to the beach after lunch. I wanted to get some street food instead, as I knew that it was cheap, and street food incorporated the vibe of the city into their food. I went to a stand, and bought a choripan. It's a sandwich with a hard crusty bread, and a grilled chorizo sausage. I don't usually eat sandwiches, and I've never had hard bread in my life, so I really liked the meal. I also wanted something sweet, so I went to a nearby bakery and bought some alfajores. It was a bit too sweet, but I liked it.
After my meal, I went to the Plaza de Mayo, where I chased pigeons around and saw graffiti. It was a park that was pretty similar to ones here, but there were palm trees and words in Spanish that I didn't understand.
At the beach, I had to always be on guard. I knew that the city had petty crime problems. Then, I did the same thing as I usually do on beaches. Standing near the water and letting the waves push around.
Argentina was a pretty nice place to visit. It was hot, and a nice place to be. There are a lot of things that make it a nice place to be, like the food, and the culture.
